Biography
Thou is a Sludge/Drone-Doom Metal quintet formed in 2005 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The band is officiated in a dark music drinking from the Extreme Metal in general, and could be brought closer to formations like Indian or Primitive Man. Although the current line up was only complete in 2010 with the arrival of the drummer, Thou did not waste time and released his first two demos in 2005 and 2007, the first of which was a work at a stakhanovist pace concerning the number of releases per year from 2008. The EPs and Splits succeed each other and become the preferred format of the group for which the LPs become marginal; In addition, label changes are very common. On the live side, the Louisianas do not sneeze either and have shot intensively in recent years, among others alongside Altar Of Plagues, Torche or Eyehategod.
