Biography

Tom Petty, the founder of Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, allowed a break in 1989 in order to release his first real solo album, although helped by many of his collaborators of the time, Full Moon Fever. It quickly became a cult album, reached fifth place on the Billboard and became five times platinum. Hits I Won In 1994, he released his second solo album, Wildflowers , produced by Rick Rubin. It will sell more than three million copies. It was only twelve years later that a third opus, Highway Compagnon , was born in 2006. During his career, he has participated in numerous charitable projects and has played numerous concerts including the 2008 Super Bowl half-time concert. He also toured American TV series as a guest and in The Postman with Kevin Costner. Finally, at the age of 60, Tom Petty became one of the most famous musicians in the world, a real hit production machine.
