Torch Runner

Torch Runner is a band from Greensboro, North Carolina. Composed of Rob Turner (Chant), Scott Hughes (Guitare), Josh Platt (Battery) and Chuck Johnson (Basse), the combo began with a sound close to the Holy Terror wave (Trash Talk , Trap Them ...) and released, after a first ep named Colony in 2009, the album Locust Swarm in early 2010. The band made some dates with Beau Navire, Cough, Magrudergrind, Deafheaven and Young And In The Way, with whom they released a split in 2011 at Headfirst! Records. Torch Runner then tightened up into a trio because Chuck gave up the bass, recovered by Rob, and the band recorded Committed To The Ground which appeared in 2012 at To Live A Lie, republished in 2014 by Southern Lord Recordings.
