Toumaï

Toumai is a group of nawak-core native to Aix en Provence, offering its vaccines against morosity to anyone since 2006. After winning a fairly large number of Springboards and contests from 2006 to 2011, the band toured and made the first band games like Ultra Vomit , Babylon Pressure or Dirty Fonzy and then recorded its first album Sapiens Demens in April 2013. Toumai practices fusion in the broad sense of the term and picks up in influences as diverse as metal, swing, ragga and anything that can make the crowds dance on an implacable groove. Their first album is not a concept album, but it is crossed by the idea that madness is in the wisdom that is in madness, and vice versa. It then drags the listener into a sound path built of ruptures and connections between universes that clash and feed each other. Sapiens Demens is the result of the work of a group sure of its artistic choices and feeling sufficiently mature to offer its groove to the whole world!
