
Toundra
Biography
Originally from Madrid and formed by Víctor, Esteban (Guitares), Alberto (Basse) and Guillermo (Battery), Toundra is a quartet created in 2007 with the idea of playing an instrumental Post-Rock influenced by Pelican, Isis or his Spanish counterparts Jardín De La Croix and Hand Of Fatima. Guillermo being replaced by Alex, they also signed a first split with them in 2008, entitled Nordeste . This followed a first eponymous record in the same year reissued a year later on the French label Basement Apes Industries. Very quickly a second eponymous record was released in 2010 at Aloud Music Ltd, Astoria Records, Narshardaa Records and Basement Apes Industries. Two years later, Toundra continues his path of an instrumental rock enlivened and evolving with III.
