Trepalium
Biography
At the end of 2001 the Trepalium project was officially formed in the Deux-Sèvres. The members of the group settled in a common house and quickly composed their first demo, Psychoic Storm , broadcast 150 copies in early 2002. Later, the band incorporated a lead singer, in order to give more freedom to each member. The new line-up thus focuses on the second demo, Pains Treshold , which comes out the following year. The formation was then made known thanks to numerous concerts and incorporated a few months later the collective Klonosphere . The renown and stylistic maturation that began to affect the band decided to record his first album, Through The Absurd , at the studio of the Milans (studio of the members of Gojira ) which was released after signing a contract with Holy Records at the end of 2004. On this first album, the Trepalium sound takes shape, and one discovers a very modern Death-Metal tinted with Hardcore reflections, with flawless efficiency, and where groove is of significant importance. After defending this first record as it should be, the French started working on its successor, and that's how early 2006 released Alchemik Clockwork Of Disorder, which further affirms the style of the band by its more worked and affirmed side. In 2009 the band returned with XIII , pushed even further its style and risked gaining in notoriety, if only thanks to the French tour that he made then with Gojira . Some projects then went up in parallel (in particular Step In Fluid with Florent Marcadet from Klone) until 2012, which saw the return of the poitevins to business with H.N.P., more ambianced than XIII. Two years later Trepalium returned to the EP Voodoo Moonshine, where coppers became dominant.
