Biography

Triclops! was born in 2005 in the form of a duo guitar+chant+bidouillage between Christian ( Bottles And Skulls ) and Johnny ( Fleshies ). The 2 friends make their feet with a first cassette already very atypical before adding to Triclops! a bass rhythmic section/battery worthy of this name. Phil ( Lower Forty-Eight ) and Larry ( Victim's Family , Hellworms , Saturn's Flea Collar Fame ) come to effectively complete the line-up. The following year, Triclops! released a first EP, Cafetaria Brutalia, recorded with Phil Manley (Trans AM, Golden, Fucking Champs), on SickRoom and Missing Finger Records. In 2007 it was the picture disc 7" Too Many Humans that appeared on Standard Labs ( The Locust , The Mars Volta ). From there, Triclops! actively shoots and shares the poster with Don Caballero, Big Business, The Melvins, WHO or Comets On Fire. March 25, 2008 is on Alternative Tentacle that Triclops! release Out Of Africa , an amazing first acid-punk album. In 2010 the combo repeated with Helpers on The Other Side .
