Trollfest
Biography
The Trollfest was formed in 2003 in Oslo, Norway. The training opts for a Folk Metal that does not take itself seriously and essentially talks about trolls and alcoholic parties. The members of the group adopted pseudonyms to stick to their theme. Trollbank (Battery - ex-Pantheon I , ex-Urgehal ), Mr. Seidel (Guitare - Pantheon I ) Trollmannen (Chant) and Psychotroll (Basse) compose their first album, Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest! in 2005, very quickly followed the following year by Brakebein . The quartet joins the services of Manskow (Accordion / Banjo) and Per Spelemann (Guitare) for the folk parts. These, members of sessions previously officially joined Trollfest for the release of Villanden in 2009 and of the ep Uraltes Elemente . It should be noted that Norwegians sing in trollspråk, which is an invented language adapted from Norwegian and German. In 2011 the band signed with Noiseart Records for the release En Kvest For Den Hellige Gral and then recruited a seventh member of the name of DrekkaDag for the addition of a saxophone. They quickly followed Brumelbassen in 2012, but the same year, Psychotroll left the band and was replaced by Lodd Bolt at bass. Trollfest celebrates its ten years of existence with a self-produced compilation A Decade Of Drekkadence in 2013 and then released Kaptein Kaos in 2014, still at Noiseart Records.
