Biography

Tyondai Braxton is the son of Anthony Braxton, well known in the spheres of Jazz for his prolix career and creative ambitions. With a genome and a well-embedded education, Tyondai has evolved to the guitar and the middle of Rock, seeking just as much innovation and originality. He is mainly known for his presence in Battles , a Math Rock project signed by Warp Records and highly noticed with the release of his first Mirrored record in 2007. Tyondai Braxton had already released several records before the explosion of his band, with very crazy and original concepts and ideas including History That Has No Effect, in 2002, a sort of exploration of the Noise worlds and the rhythmic closure of the character. In 2009, the guitarist gave the services of a symphonic orchestra for his Central Market record, and played in universes relatively close to Battles, the orchestral side in addition. In 2015 he returned with Hive1 to move towards more electronic elements. An ep, Oranged Out, also released in 2016.
