Country: France
Formed: 2008

Biography

A project initiated in 2008 in Paris by Luigi Marletta (Guitare) and Brendan Perrot (Basse - Decades Of Despair), Upheaval then expanded to include Guillermo Calero (Batterie), Benjamin Tordjman (Chant - Decades Of Despair) and Andrea Quaranta (Guitare). The latter finally left the band quickly, leaving the field open to Luigi on guitar. Upheaval is in a Death Metal Brutal, technique and speed. The band perspires its influences through its compositions, and we easily recognize elements The Faceless, The Black Dahlia Murder, Origin. After a demo in 2009, the band released their first ep Incubate The Wastland in 2011, which is only good for the rest. For three years Upheaval performed several concerts alongside Betraying The Martyrs , Walls Of Jericho or Black Tongue , while line-up changes took place: Vincent Kreyder replaced Guillermo with drums and Stephen Migneron with songs. Upheaval finally released his first album called Cathegrism in self-production in 2015.
