Vali

Vali is the project of one man. This son of northern god Loki started his project in 2003 in Norway. He is accompanied by an acoustic guitar to compose and release the year after his first album, Forlatt . On this beginning Vali is inspired directly by fairy tales and Nordic mythology to release an enchanted Neo-Folk. After the release of Forlat t, Vali signed a five album contract with the German label Auerbach Tonträger ( Of The Wand&The Moon , Sol Invictus , Neun Welten ). In 2010, some of his new songs appeared on the compilation Whom The Moon A Nightsong Sings with October Falls, Les Discretes and Empyrium. Vali is also an acoustic and electric guitarist with the Norwegian band Doom-Metal Atmospheric, Skumring. Vali released his second album, under the label Prophecy Productions, after nine years of absence. Until then, the musician was accompanied by Kjetil Ottersen on piano, Marit Charlotte Steinum on flute, Rosamund Brown on cello and Mira Ursic on violin.
