Vancouver

Vancouver was originally to be a side-project bringing together musicians from various Swiss bands. Following the close splits of Iscariot and especially Unfold, the project is in the long term. Originally from Vancouver, there are three Unfold elders: Laurent (battery), Alain and Elie (guitars). The latter immediately thought of Bastien ( Iscariot ) to hold the place of bassist and to the unbridled singing of Michael officiating within the excellent Impure Wilhelmina . When we know the characters, we think that their gathering will soon give a furious mixture of metal hardcore. Yet the band admits to having tried to produce a music more set in the line of Chokebore. The result seemed unconvincing, and it was to a heavy hazel-core that Vancouver found its way. The Moment , the first album, materializes a fiercely well-conducted collaboration and definitely places Switzerland among the most suitable lands for the formations distilled a modern hardcore. In 2007 Vancouver recorded a 7'' split alongside Fresnel (Noise Appeal Records / Division Records) and a CD split with the Swiss from Zatokrev (Get a Life! Records )
