Varials
Biography
Mounted in 2013 in Philadelphia, Varials follows a similar course to Jesus Piece , a band from the same bled , the first practicing a modern Hardcore rather inspired by the Neo Metal of the 90s/2000s, in particular Slipknot , but also by the Beatdown, bringing him closer to Knocked Loose , another tour companion. The formation quintet (Shane Lyons, James Hohenwarter, Mike Foley, Sean Rauchut and Jared Pilieri) released a first EP the same year, Recollection , regrouping their singles at the time, then the singer Pilieri withdrew from the band to give way to Travis Tabron in 2014. A second EP, Fairure / Control, was released in 2015, followed by a split with the Vicious Embrace group the following year. In 2017 Varials signed on the Fearless Records label for the release of the first long format Pain Again , accompanied by a new start, this time the guitarist Lyons replaced by Mitchell Rogers. Barely two years later the quintet released his second album, In Darkness , still at Fearless, but separated once again from his singer, Tabron, in 2020, Rogers taking care of the voice on the tour planned that year.
