Biography

Vektor is a Thrash Metal band formed in Tempe, Arizona in 2002 by guitarist and singer David Disanto. After producing a demo in 2003, he was joined by Erik Nelson (Guitare) and Adam Anderson (Battery) in 2004, with whom he composed new, highly technical pieces influenced by Speed Thrash and Progressive Metal. Thus, they released their first album Demolition in 2006. Kian Ahmad made a brief appearance behind the drums in 2007 before Blake Anderson was finally recruited. Similarly, Mike Tozzi (Basse) joined Vektor in 2006 as the band performed on stage alongside Testament, Hiraz, Iced Earth and Municipal Waste. But it was in 2009 that Vektor's fame exploded. Frank Chin replaces Mike Tozzi, then the combo records Black Future, which appears at Heavy Artillery Records. Pushing even further their concept of technical and progressive Thrash in a science fiction universe, Vektor makes much talk about him and follows with two years of concerts. The group returns at the end of 2011 with a new bomb under the arm: Outer Isolation . Five years later the Americans relocated to Philadelphia come back with a fourth album still well tufted, Terminal Redux , hosted by Earache Records as the previous one.
