Biography

Sean Murphy - singing Eric Lepine - guitar Zak Drummond - guitar Chris Berg - bass Shawn Costa - drums Verse is initially a side project mounted by Sean Murphy, singer of What Feeds the Fire. The original line up is composed of Sean on drums, Eric Lepine on guitar, Mark Lennon, second guitar and Matt Amore on bass. Evolved without a singer for a while, Sean quickly stacked up on the microphone after the split of What Feeds the Fire, leaving room for Mike Hall (The Distance) behind the drums. It was under this training that Verse released his first seven soberly titled Four Songs, on Contrast Records in 2003. In August Mark Lennon was replaced by Brian Wilcox and a few tours followed, with members now freer, and even able to get involved in writing and recording their first Rebuild album that they released on Rivalry Records in 2004. A European tour is planned for 2005 with their label buddies Another Breath . After a second album entitled From Anger and Rage , Verse signs on Bridge Nine label. The band announces its decision to stop the adventure the year after the release of its third album, Agression , and thus separates after a final double show on 22 and 23 May 2009
