Biography

A Swedish Crust Formation, Victims formed in 1997 in the suburbs of Stockolm around Marcus (guitar), Johan Eriksson (chant), Andy Henriksson (battery) and Andy Söderström (bass). As early as 1999, the band recorded a first 7-inch Harder Than it Was Meant to Be and a split with Acursed at Yellowdogs Records ( Pisschrist, Backstabbers Inc.). 2001 is a busy year. Victims toured the UK and also released his first album, Neverendinglasting . The training continued on the Stormbreaker Tour and began to work on a split with the Americans of From Ashes Rise. Swedish people are also asked to participate in a tribute to Discharge, alongside Skitsystem and Nasum among others. For the occasion, they provide a cover of the title "Doomsday". Everything seems to be going well for Victims, who, however, have to face Marcus' departure around November. It is not until February 2002 that Johan Eriksson and his acolytes find him a replacement in the person of Jon Lindqvist. The guitarist of Sayyadina and Acursed, the latter will also include the combo grind cult Nasum from 2003, until the final split. In 2003, Victims made his first emulations in the United States. The DeadAlive Records label reissues the album Neverendinglasting and Havoc Records finally released the split with From Ashes Rise who had been sleeping in the cartons for two years. Satisfied with the results the Minneapolis label signs a deal with the Swedish. In 2004, Victims returned to the Soundlab studio. From these sessions comes the second album entitled ...In Blood . The band then embarked on a three-week American tour during which Lindqvist fractured his hip, forcing him to move on crutches and play in a wheelchair. Therefore, the training continues to go back and forth between the States and the Old Continent. In 2005, Victims embarked on a European tour before entering the studio for the recording of his third full length. Divide&Conquer was born in April 2006 after an English mini tour and the band returned to the States for a month's journey. In December of the same year, Andy Söderström reverenced for personal reasons. Johan Eriksson now holds the positions of bassist and singer. The departure of Söderström marks a real break in the training path. Killer in 2008 and the EP Lies, Lies, Lies the following year were distinguished by the very marked incorporation of Hard Rock influences. Dissident released in 2011 and produced by Nico Elgstrand d'Entombed definitively endorses this evolution. He was followed five years later by Sirens.
