Biography

Formed in Mansfield, Australia, Violent Soho takes root in rock from the year of his birth, 2004. Since its beginnings, the line-up has remained the same: Luke Boerdam (Guitare / Chant), James Tidswell (Guitare / Chant), Luke Henery (Basse) and Michael Richards (Battery). A first EP, Pigs&T.V. , was released in 2006, based on songs written by the frontman when he was 14. After some positive feedback (going as far as comparing them to The Vines), Violent Soho started to shoot with The Grates, Faker or Gratton Primary, going so far as to participate in St. Jerome After a few months to compose, an eponymous debut album is announced at Ecstatic Peace! Records (held by Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth), with titles already present on We Don的t Belong Here but reworked. Hardly the available record, Australians leave their record company and return to Australia. S Yet, the musicians do not admit defeated and sign at I Oh You, with a single Tinderbox / Neighbour Neighbour, then a return to writing new titles. Hungry Ghost arrives in 2013, followed by a few tracks to highlight the record. The tours resume, as well as the feedback on this new opus (to help put Hungry Ghost at the top of the charts). Gradually, the combo begins to compose and announces WACO for March 2016.
