Biography

Vista Chino is Kyuss' new mill. In 2010 the new tomb, John Garcia plays Kyuss will perform a series of concerts in Europe where the ex-vocalist Kyuss will be accompanied by musicians from Anneke Van Giersbergen, Kong, Celestial Season and Arsenal. In June, when the band played Hellfest, he was joined during his set by Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork , they performed Gardenia and Green Machine (something they would later re-release), which led to a new announcement in November. The three acolytes decided to tour together under the name Kyuss Lives , the innocuous guitarist position will be entrusted to Belgian Bruno Fevery. March 2012, Oliveri leaves (it will come back a few weeks at the end of the year before leaving again) replaced by Billy Cordell (ex Yawning Man) and we learn at the same time that a complaint was filed by Josh Man and Scott Reeder (there, your imagination makes you link between the two events, knowing that Josh is the producer of Mondo Generator, you may not be wrong) regarding the use of the word Kyuss in the name of the group. The court ruled in favour of the Queens Of The Stone Age leader, but still allowed Bjork and Garcia to use the name in their logo and as part of their promotion, provided that the two words Kyuss and Lives appeared on the same plane and were composed of letters of identical size. Finally, they decided to change their surname after their performance at Soundwave Festivals 2013 to Vista Chino . Meanwhile, Mike Dean (Corrosion Of Conformity) landed behind the big strings. May 2013, Vista Chino signs with the Austrians of Napalm Records and on the same day unveils a first new song with Dargona Dragona, announcer of an album named Peace that will be released in September. The band is currently on tour to promote it and already evokes a possible successor...
