Founded in the Louvain region in 1999 from former members of Outrage , Deconsume , Reller and Hopeman Path , Vuur starts as a quintet with two singers, Yannick and Koen. After a few shows, he left the case and the band continued in quartet. A rehearsal under the arm, Vuur entered the studio in 2001. Four titles are recorded. Three of these appear on the split with Seein Red , the fourth being destined for a profit album released by Mountain CIA Records. In 2003 Vuur introduced six new titles with a split with Inertie . Las, this last splint and titles are redistributed on a split with Amen Ra and a 4 way Split with Amen Ra, Gantz and Gameness. Two years later Yannick was forced to stop singing. The band remained undecided for a while on its future but soon returned to Koen. Meanwhile, Shove Records and Acclaim Records offer the group the opportunity to bring out all the productions on a cd. Vuurviolence will be born in 2007. In 2006, following a show with the Dutch Grinding Halt , both bands decided to record a split. The latter was born in 2008. That same year, Belgians participated in the Paris Brûle festival?.
