Warfare was born in Tyneside, suburb of Newcastle (United Kingdom) in 1984, just in time to take advantage of the latest sobbing of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, which is starting to beat a bit of the wing. Formed by Paul Evo, Gunner and Falken, the band signed a first deal with Neat Records, a label that includes Venom. The debuts are devoted to the recording of two eps, Noise, Filth & Fury, and Two Tribes (which includes a cover of Frankie Goes To Hollywood), as well as the first album, Pure Filth. Warfare did not start performing in concert until 1985, after the release of the ep Total Death . Do not release the pressure, the band returns to studio at the end of the year for the recording of the second album, Metal Anarchy , produced by Lemmy Kilmister ( Motörhead ). Unfortunately, Falken leaves his friends in the middle of the sessions forcing them to appeal in disaster to one of their colleagues, Cronos (Venom ) who is acting until the arrival of a new bassist. Zlaughter made his debut in 1986 for the recording of Mayhem Fuckin' Mayhem , Warfare's third album which has all the trouble to release due to problems with the label. It was after a long period of silence, during which the separate group is believed, that Warfare resurfaced with A Conflict of Hatred. Tyneside's most successful album is also one of Neat Records' best sales. Relations with the latter continue to disintegrate. This situation led to the band's departure for the Film Music label on which Hammer Horror was released in 1990, followed a year later by Crescendo of Reflections with J.J. Dunn (Venom) on guitar, which turned out to be Warfare's last studio production.
