Biography

We Came As Romans is a metalcore band from Troy, Michigan, formed in 2005 by Sean N. Zelda (Battery), Jonny Nabors (Basse), David Stephens (Chant), Mark Myatt (Chant), Larry Clark (Chant), and Joshua Moore (Guitare), known as This Emergency. But the group makes many line-up changes. Jonny Nabors was replaced by Sean E. Daly and Andrew Glass. Sean N. Zelda was replaced by Eric Choi and Brian Cotton joined the combo as second guitarist. Larry Clark also left the group in 2008 and Christ Moore made only a flash passage to the position of claverist in 2007-2008 replaced by Kyle Pavone. Now under a stable line-up of six musicians, the band composes two eps that were born suddenly in 2008: Demonstrations and Dreams. This allows We Came As Romans to play with Oh, Sleeper and The Chariot, but also to sign at Equal Vision Records for their first album. In 2009 To Plant A Seed makes talk about him on the Metal scene again which allows the combo to turn alongside Asking Alexandria, Of Mice&Men, A Skylit Drive then participate in the Imperial Never Say Die European Tour 2010 with Parkway Drive, Comeback Kid, Bleeding Through, Emmure, War From A Harlots Mouth and Your Demise. In 2011 We Came As Romans returns with Understanding What We've Grown To Be also published by Nuclear Blast Records for a larger distribution.
