Grouped in 2006 at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, the four members of Whaleface are embarking on an adventure hoping to revive the spirit of the 1990s in their melodic punk rock. In the spring of the same year, they quickly released their first self-produced EP.
2007 will be quieter with a few concerts here and there. The quartet begins the following year with the composition of a full opus and opens on various dates for The Unseen , A Wilhelm Scream and Lipona on a mini Florida tour. In March '09, the first recordings of Mind Your Pros and Cons were started; They will last two months and then during the summer, Whaleface will prepare its release (always independently) and play a pair of concerts after a year of absence on the board. Ocotbre is an important month for the band that officially releases Mind Your Pros and Cons on October 13, two days after an opening show of Pour Habit, The Flatliners and Strung Out. A first tour of the US East Coast is scheduled for January 2010.
