Wildernessking

It was in 2011 in Cape Town, South Africa that the group of Post Black Metal Wildernessking formed on the ashes of Heathens around Jason Jardim (Battery), Dylan Viljoen (Guitare), Jesse Navarre Vos (Guitare) and Keenan Nathan Oakes (Chant / Bass). It was very quickly that the band released its first effort, The Writing Of Gods In The Sand, in 2012 via Antithetic Records ( Kayo Dot, Maudlin Of The Well, The Great Old Ones). Follow two eps, . . . And The Night Swept Us Away and The Devil Within in 2012 and 2014 and then two splits with many bands in 2014 and 2015. But it is mainly with their second album, Mystical Future , signed by Les Acteurs de l'Ombre Productions and produced by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven , Bosse-De-Nage , Botanist , Oathbreaker ...), that Wildernessking starts to become known for his organic and sensitive Black Metal. An ep named Levitate appeared after the record, but the band split up the following year.
