Winds Of Plague
Biography
Formed in 2002 under the name of Bleak December , the band changed to adopt Winds Of Plague in 2005 (name inspired by the song Endless by Unearth ). At the end of June of the same year the band released its first opus: A Cold Day In Hell at Recourse Records which clearly announces their Metalcore / Deathcore with the addition of melodic and symphonic keyboards. In August 2006, a demo was released, taken up entirely (2 tracks only) on the split Stronger Than All, alongside Loyal To The Grave and Armed For Battle. Decimate The Weak released in 2008 under the label Century Media, produced by Daniel Castelman ( As I Lay Dying ) and mixed by Tue Madsen ( Dark Tranquility ). A number of songs from their first album will be re-recorded for the occasion. Winds Of Plagues is just next with Dimmu Borgir, Danzig, Veil Of Maya or As Blood Runs Black. In 2009 The Great Stone War was released, a more measured version of their style, but still lost. The line-up saw Kristen Randall appear on the keyboards (replaced in 2010 by Alana Potocnik) and Art Cruz behind the drums. Two years later, they released their latest album, Against The World , much awaited by the growing community of fans.
