Formed in 2001 in New Jersey, then relocated to Philadelphia, Witch Hunt was originally composed of Nicole (guitar), Janine (bass, singing) and Rob (battery). The band released its first album As Priorities Decay in 2004 by Profane Existence. A year later, the band turned into a quartet with the arrival of Vince on drums, Rob slipping to guitar and singing. In 2006, Witch Hunt recorded his second album Blood-Red State but had some problems with the label. The Philadelphia formation takes its cliques and slams and, after having been offered an Alternative Tentacles offer, the skeud comes out in co-production thanks to European labels. But Biafra's insistence is bearing fruit. Witch Hunt signed a deal with Californian label in 2008 for the new album, Burning Bridges to Nowhere.
