Witchcraft
Biography
Witchcraft made its debut in 2000, Magnus Pelander decided to set up a band to honour Bobby Liebling and Roky Erickson of Pentagram. The band then released a single in tribute to the famous doom band in 2002 and decided to continue the adventure. The band then prepares its eponymous album for Rise Above Records (specialist of the 70s/stoner bands like The Electric Wizard , Capricorns , Taint , Sheavy , ...) and records its album only with period material to have a 70s sound. The major influences of the band are heard, Black Sabbath and Pentagram leading. In 2005 the Swedish repeats with Firewood and allows the group to settle a little more. In 2007 they returned with a split in the company of The Sword , but also and especially with The Alchemist , still at Rise Above , and thus became one of the best groups in the revival wave 70s of the 2000s. After a five-year break, Witchcraft returned in 2012 with a new line-up and a fourth album, entitled Legend . Line-up : Magnus Pelander (chant) Ola Henriksson (bass) Oscar Johansson (battery) Tom Jondelius (guitar) Simon Solomon (Guitare)
