Biography
Behind the name of World's End Girlfriend is Katsuhiko Maeda. Multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, drums, MAO...) Japanese, Maeda falls very early in the world of classical and electronic music. Legend has it that since the age of 13, he has recorded more than 600 songs. Moving towards an electronic style flirting with Post-rock or Jazz, close to a Kashiwa Daisuke, World's End Girlfriend released a first EP in 2000, titled Sky Short Story. Little exported outside Japan and authors of a multitude of remixes in his country, his multiple trips ended up reaching the Continent, thanks to a split with his compatriots from Mono . Her latest album, Seven Idiots , was released in 2010.
