Wormfood
Biography
Wormfood was formed in Rouen in 2001. Quickly, the band, then made up of only two members, released a first demo, allowing it to find a drummer. This new line-up keeps its effectiveness and it is less than a year later that the first eponymous album of the combo is recorded. Containing a Metal touches everything, completely barred and unpredictable, it prefigures the direction towards which the members of the group want to head and allows them to make a name among the hexagonal scene. In 2004, Wormfood decided to move to a higher speed and began the composition of its next album, with wider ambitions and to which musicians wanted to give more attention and work. Carnival In Coal's Axel Wursthorn will give this record all its know-how to give an excellent production and therefore an extra boost to combo. Entitled Children's Games, it will be an opportunity for the group to integrate a new guitarist, which will mark the arrival at the current line-up. France , more or less concept album, was released in 2005. Always borrowed from Metal totally crazy, confusing and quite inconsistent, it proposes to the listener to discover a morbid and different France, in an atmosphere of fresh decadence. S It will be released in 2011. It will again take a few years to see the French release a new opus. In 2016 the Apathia Records label announced the release for May of the month of L-Cover. Wormfood reconnects with the theatricality and violence on France, while continuing its almost entirely French-speaking orientation.
