Xixa

The guitarists and singers Brian Lopez and Gabriel Sullivan have been part of the stage of Tucson (United States) for many years alongside Calexico and Giant Sand. Inspired by Peruvian Cumbia, the two musicians a few years under the name Chica Dust before renaming Xixa. They then surrounded themselves with Jason Urman (Claviers), Geoff Hidalgo (Basse), Efren Cruz Chavez (Percussions) and Winston Watson (Battery). A first ep, Shift And Shadow appeared in 2015 at Barbès Records and Gliterhouse Record, followed by Bloodline in 2016 and a French tour.
