Zolle

Self-proclaimed rednecks, Zolle's Italians are now ready to get out of their hole (Bruzzelle) with their first eponymous album which is an ode to the life of péquenaud. The duo made up of Stefano (Battery) and Marcello (Guitare - Morkobot) does not take himself seriously, but plays in a Stoner / Doom / Sludge register that deserves attention. In just two months, the album is composed, recorded by Michelangelo Roberti at Mizkey Studio ( Morkobot ) and mastered by Giovanni Versari ( Zu , Morkobot , Ovo , One Dimensional Man ). Everything was recorded live with a few overddubs, 50's amp and other gadgets for a massive sound. Roberto Rizzo de Quasiviri/Runi and Urlo de Ufomammut added a few hints of synths for the final touch. The album is released in 2013 at Supernatural Cat and is soon followed by Porkestra and Indesta in 2015 and 2017 with a signature on the latter via Subsound Records. Zolle released Macello in 2020 and Rosa in 2024 on the same label.
