Zulu

At the base of anaiah Lei's solo project (ex-The Bots), Zulu takes root in Los Angeles and plays a punk Hardcore / Metal luging towards Powerviolence, impregnated with black culture and Soul. A rather new mix of genres that launched a first demo (Our Day Will Come ) in 2019 via the English label Quality Control HQ (Foreseen , Big Cheese , etc), then a second (My People... Hold On ) the following year. The one man band quickly becomes quintet in order to be able to use the boards and begin to forge a small stage reputation. The first album, A New Tomorrow , arrived in 2023 at Flatspot Records ( End It , Section H8 , Buggin ), produced by Zach Tuch ( Touché Amoré , Dare , Trash Talk ), already there on demos.
