Biography

Zyklon was created in 1998. At the time it was a side-project of the guitarist and drummer of Emperor, namely Samoth and Trym. First in trio with guitarist Destructhor (Myrkskog ), they signed with Candlelight Records. On their first black/death-oriented album, World ov Worms , released in 2001, we find Daemon by Limbonic Art and Kristoffer Rygg (Ulver , Arcturus ) making an appearance. The band then shoots with Morbid Angel and Deicide, and the album is frequently found in the top albums of critics. Later, Sectordamon ( Myrkskog ) replaced Daemon in singing and in 2003 Aeon released, a new album that was more accomplished and this time more death, the sound approaching their cousins Myrkskog. He was the group's reputation, especially since Emperor splitte in 2002. From then on, Trym and Samoth are free to engage even more in this new adventure. In 2006, Zyklon returned with a third album, Disintegrate .
